Sisters

I am sure that there are a lot of older siblings that love their brothers or sisters, but Ella is totally enamored with her baby sister. The 'newness' of baby Caroline has not worn off and I hope it never does! She wants to know where she is as soon as she wakes up each morning, wants to hold her and kiss her all the time and loves to make her smile and laugh. Her teachers say that she talks about Caroline all the time and she always wants to show Caroline to her friends when I pick her up. (They are usually less than impressed!) Caroline definitely saves her best smiles for Ella :)

We've got dimples!

We're not sure if it because she is a little chubby or if they will last, but for now Caroline has come cute little dimples :) I hope they stick around!

Christmas 2010

This was our first Christmas without any traveling in many years, and we were really looking forward to it. Ella was really into Christmas this year--as long as she didn't have to see the man in the red suit :) We wrote him a letter this year and made every effort to avoid him. This was Caroline's first Christmas and we enjoyed it very much. We are so blessed with all that we have and hope that each of you had a Very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
